Prelude to the War

Well, first things first...the name of this particular story in Saka's life will not really make sense until the next story, which is quite linked to this one.

Anyway, Prelude to the War is the first story that I started with Saka in it...it is where he came into being, even if it isn't the earliest story I will write for him. And as thus...it is most of where his personality (and temper) was created.

So, this story is about a time in Saka's life when he is happily settled with one of his many human lovers, a man named Thanus. Then, his younger brother (the only one alive at the time) Jerrol calls in an unwisely promised favor, asking him to come to the city of Burnlord, where he lives, and help him out with something. Saka goes...reluctantly, and the story starts just as he is arriving.
