The Niiru

Pohl is a young human who just so happens to be a familiar to mage from a dying race called the Niiru. (The only human familiar in existence, actually.) As such, he has his own set of issues that are... rather unique. Then, one day, his Master and his conceive a child... and immediately send Pohl out to get help protecting them.

In addition, we have some "interludes" (in the modern day?) with a house and a mysterious new tenant... (And yes, this does have a connection to the main story. ^_^;)

Another super temporary title, and another past NaNo story!
