Kat's story

Kat is a high school junior who doesn't have much of a life. She loves to learn, and she has some friends at school. She has a fairly large family of parents, two younger sisters, and an older brother. Oh, and a dog, a Great Dane named Missy.

One day she's out walking Missy and she bumps into an odd young man who presses a ring into her hand and then leaves. Little does she know this is going to turn her life upside down very, very soon.
