The Holy Month

This is a whole story, already finished, woot! It is fairly short, only 5,286 words, but I like it. I even created parts of a culture just for the story...and I'm going to try to write some more stuff in this culture sometime, because it's a shame to leave so much of it alone or barely mentioned.

The Holy Month itself is about a young man (I think somewhere 16-20 years old) who is on studying for some sort of religious calling, not sure exaclty what, and it doesn't really matter. Just know that for whatever he's doing, keeping daily records is required, which is how we get his story. Anyway, he's on a mandatory home visit (necessary to keep his magic), and he hates it.

His father is an abusive bastard, who he hates. He loves his mother, and hates his father most because the man beats his mother. So, to escape, he turns to sex, drugs, and alcohol.

And then it gets darker...

WARNING! This story is not pleasant toward the end. Hell, it's not very nice at the beginning, but it gets worse. There is mention of incest. There is some slight sexual content. There is also some pretty nasty (at least I think it's nasty, and I wrote it) violence at the end. Please be warned before you go and read it, that it's not supposed to be nice. So, if you might have problems with this kind of stuff, just don't read it!!! And if you already know you're going to mind it and go ahead and read anyway and are disgusted/offended, please don't go and get pissed at me, because I'm not forcing you to read.
