Atarashii Inochi

This is my second try at fanfiction. Like Fushigi Ryuu, it is a Fushigi Yuugi story. It's a mix of a reincarnation fic and a "new miko" fic. The shichiseishi (except for Tamahome, who is still Taka) have been reborn, but in the book. The story mostly takes place in the book, and there is a new miko to summon Suzaku.

The idea is pretty simple. The events of the series happened nicely, and Miaka and Tamahome/Taka had their happy ending. But there's just a small problem... Since Tamahome was reborn in the real world as Taka, he can't be reborn as Tamahome in the book for the next cycle...thus leaving them with only 6 of the shichiseishi (shichi, by the way, means 7, if you didn't know) and unable to summon Suzaku when the miko next appears. If that made no sense...maybe you should just read the prologue...it goes a little slower.

Just as a warning...there will be bl, and there are spoilers for pretty much the whole series (everything covered in the tv series and the second OAV), since this takes place after, and I might decide to pull an older version of Miaka and Taka in if I feel like it. I'm not going to play with Eikouden or any of the manga specific stuff here, as I started this story before I got access to it.

DISCLAIMER: I don't own Fushigi Yuugi, its world, the wonderful boys from it, or any other character in it. I'm just borrowing them to play with them for a little bit, just like any other fanfic author. And anyway, suing me for using them would be a waste, since I'm poor.

I do own Leigh and Kev (yes, the little green genie, he shows up later). I'd like to be asked before you use them (especially Kev...since he doesn't have much free time outside of his wish granting duties).
