Arnen is a Lora, a race that comes from humans, but aren't, and are the arbiters of humankind. She is close to two thousand years old, and one of the more powerful Lora. She is known throughout the land as the "Ice Queen" because she hates most people...

Now she is being sent to stop a civil war in the making. Things just aren't going the way she plans either... She's stuck with a young Lora as a partner, and she has to deal with a stuck up, young prince who she can't stand, but she's supposed to put him on the throne.
