Hi! Welcome to obsessive lemming! I'm Rana (the obsessive lemming herself), and if you hadn't guessed it already, this is my site. If you would like to get a hold of me, stop by my livejournal (see the journal section) and leave a comment for me there.

This layout that you are looking at right now is the sixth permutation of the fourth version of the site (in other words, version 4.6)... It's titled "pounce!" and is part of a site-wide series of layouts featuring chibified Konoe from the bl game Lamento. Catboy goodness.

The site is split up into three parts and two outside ventures... muses, designs, nihongo, and the journal and the book blog...

muses

This is what used to be the sole purpose of this site... It's where you'll find all of my writing that I'm currently willing to share with the public. I'll warn people now, this site is about half (or more) bl (short for "boys love," in short: boys who like other boys), but the non-bl stuff is separate, so you homophobes don't need to worry.

This is my translation page, nihongo no lemming. Here I post descriptions of and links to various Japanese to English translations that I have done.

journal

This is my journal (partially a writing journal, but mostly random personal stuff and translations these days)...run by Livejournal. I put up bits and pieces of writing/ideas for stories, as well as random blog-type stuff... Things from this journal can (and already have) make it to Muses eventually, especially when I write scenes from stories I'm already working on. My personal translation projects also make appearances here. ^_^

books!

This is my (newly opened as of March 2010!) book/manga/drama cd blog, The Literate Lemming. My impressions (not quite reviews) of printed, drawn, and spoken works (translation: books, manga, and drama cds). A mixture of Japanese and English stuff and a mixuture of bl, science fiction, and fantasy. ^_^
