This marks the beginning of decent layouts for the music place (which was called Kev-chan's Music Place back when this was used)... I refuse to show the first two layouts for the music place...as they sucked. Anyway, this layout was heavy on the frames, but worked as long as I didn't keep the top and bottom bars stored on Angelfire (that for some reason screwed up the sizes...). And this picture of Yuki is just gorgeous. I remember I showed a friend a bunch of different ideas for the main pic (a friend whose anime experience consisted of Sailor Moon only), and she chose this one hands down. It's definitely the wings...

When I started the third version of the music place, I found lots and lots of pictures that I wanted to use. So...I kinda decided to use them all, and I changed the layout with every update. I really like this picture of Ceres...and I am of the opinion that she is very pretty, for a girl.

I really like Ios. He's really, really good looking, and he makes such a cute chibi! But this picture was a bitch to edit out of its background...I remember that. It was worth it, though.

Nuriko is my favorite bishounen ever. I remember when I was doing these layouts, I wanted to have something special for my birthday...so I hunted down Nuriko pics, and the moment I found this one I fell in love with it. He's so cute... ^_^ Anyway, this went up on my twenty-first birthday, so it's especially special. ^_^

Okay...I will make my disclaimer now. I know that I had more than just these five layouts for the big switching layout period. At the very least, I know that I had a layout that involved Vash the Stampede giving his "love and peace" sign...but I seem to have lost any other layout screenshots. And I have no idea which one was last anymore...I just know that this is the last one I have. Anyway...I really like this picture. It's so pretty... ^_^ And I remember Mizuki's name now, unlike when I created the layout!

This is the first layout for the music place without "Kev-chan" running it, though it was still named after him. It was also the mark of when the music place officially became part of Obsessive Lemming. I had fun creating this layout...playing with different effects in Photoshop to create the background of the picture. And I liked this layout...Shippo is probably my favorite character in what I've seen/read of Inuyasha... After all, he's kitsune. ^_^

Here is the 800x600 alternate to WAI!!! As much as I love the Shippo picture...I loved this layout too. Yue is my favorite CCS character, and I adore this image of him.

features: Mikagami Tokiya from Flame of Recca, manga
...and as the music place went on, it eventually got sucked into the massive site-wide Flame of Recca theme, with pop-ups. Now that I think about it, I've used a lot of brown for the music place...but it always ends up working. Anyway, I love Mikagami's hair in this pic...actually, I just love his hair in general. And it's so much better in the manga than in the anime.

The large pop-up, with Mikagami, turned out to be the only less than happy picture of my FoR theme for the music place. This one, the small pop-up, has a nice, genki pic of my absolute favorite FoR character...Koganei! Yeah...I like him...which would probably be why he got three different spots in the FoR theme.

This super joyous layout was the non-javascript version of the FoR theme. I like this pic...it makes me happy. It's from the end of the manga, and it's just nice to have a happy ending. ^_^

This layout was not only a change from all my previous, frames-using layouts, but a comeback from a very, very long hiatus. Before I made this layout, I had been considering closing the music place...but then I got on a layout kick, and I revived my interest in the site. And not only that, but I got to do it with a sexy guy like Rei... ^_^ The title of the layout comes from the song "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred, by the way.

features: Shindo Shuuichi from Gravitation, manga-type
There are lots and lots of wonderful Gravitation chibis out there. I toyed with the idea of scanning the image under the tray of the Sound Story II cd and using it for a layout... It's a picture of chibi Shu-chan and chibi Yuki, naked and not-quite kissing. It's adorable...but I figured the chibi penises (no detail) were a little much...so I used this one instead. Besides, Shu-chan is the best (except for Ryu-chan...but I don't think I have any really good chibis of him)!

This is the final layout for the music place, the one that was in place when I closed the music place down in September, 2006. I had forgotten to take a screenshot of this while it was up, and I had already deleted everything but the farewell message before I realized it. So this screenshot is taken from some files that I had laying around on Saka that were apparently working ones. They didn't have the title of the layout or the date when I started using it, so those are both unknown... But this is a quite cute image, and that would be why I used it for the layout for the music place, even if it is a bit pink...
