ver 1.0 ~the handsome monk~
2/04-9/04
features: Yuki Eiri from Gravitation, manga
I figured that the best place to use a black and white layout would be on a site that already has some color from its content...like this one. ^_^ And when I bought volume 4 of Gravitation, I realized that I absolutely had to use this picture for a layout. Because Yuki may not make a good monk...but he makes a damned sexy one! This is not scanned by me...I would have used an original scan, but Dad decided to unhook the scanner and put a radio tuner in its place just days before I wanted to scan this image. So I used the same page from a scanlation that I have.
ver 1.1 ~ecchi shiyou!~
9/04-9/06
features: Yoshimine-sensei from DearS
^_^ DearS, despite being obviously shounen in its fanservice and whole slave things, is an anime I find terribly addictive. It's cute, quite cute, and Yoshimine-sensei (whose name I had to look up just a few moments ago ^_^) and her practically illegal ecchi ways amuses me to no end. This is actually a screenshot from the ending sequence...I just thought it fit in well, after I decided that I wanted red, black, white, and gray to be the colors for this set of layout changes.
ver 1.2 ~makasetoke!~
9/06-7/07
features: Yamato from Harlem Beat wa Yoake Made
So... This layout is the only layout from the site wide layout changes that wasn't drawn from a bl manga/artbook/game/drama cd... Of course, this particular manga title was created by Takashima Kazusa, a bl artist, so it's close enough. The image used for the layout was taken from the booklet of one of the drama cds...and features the main character in a rather...different outfit. I'm not exactly sure where the colors for this layout came from, but I think they fit rather well with the overall tone of the image. And yeah, I love this series with a passion. ^_^;
ver 1.3 ~I'm late!~
7/07-present
features: chibi Natsu and Shuuji from Wagamama Dakedo Itoshikute
Several of my layouts for this round feature these two in chibi form (always with Natsu crossdressing ^_^). The pictures are from the covers (I believe the inside flaps, but I don't feel like digging out my manga to check for sure) of various volumes of Wagamama Dakedo Itoshikute. And, well, they seemed to be fairly well suited for using as main images for sections of the site, so I did.
